Spring 2022 Assurance Intern - Baton Rouge
The Audit Intern will learn a variety of accounting and auditing skills under the supervision of different professionals. Interns will gain accounting knowledge, learn to meet deadlines and display professional conduct.
- Learns and assists assurance professionals under direction of Seniors, Supervisors, Manager, Senior Managers and Partners.
- Becomes familiar with the firm’s policies and procedures including workpaper preparation, audit, and accounting procedures, and documentation and testing of internal controls.
- Keeps current on technical issues and learns to apply them to client circumstances.
- Becomes proficient in the use of the Firm’s technology and research tools.
- Begins to develop a command of GAAP and generally accepted auditing standards.
